About the Journal

Basic and Applied Herpetology (B&AH) is the open access journal of the Spanish (AHE) and Portuguese (APH) Herpetological Societies. Volumes are published annually, although produced copies of accepted articles will be published online as soon as page proofs are approved by authors. 

Publication in B&AH is free of charge.

B&AH utilizes the PKP PN LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
